On 22 and 23 March 2023, the last onsite project meeting and matchmaking event of the TOURISME project took place in Bari, Italy. TOURISME is an EU funded project coordinated by Consulta Europa (https://tourisme-project.eu/), aimed at supporting 65 tourism SMEs in improving their sustainability.
The project event was hosted by the eco-sustainable Masseria Montenapoleone, which was built on a natural legacy and sits atop an ancient cave settlement, ensconced in the heart of centuries of olive plains.
The project meeting of the TOURISME consortium was held in the morning of 22 March and it was an occasion to gather all partners together to plan the final steps of the project which is coming to an end in June.
Moreover, a conclusive matchmaking event dedicated to our beneficiary SMEs was organised by the project partner Sistemi Formativi Confindustria. The event was centred on green marketing and sustainable tourism and hosted over 30 tourism companies.
The matchmaking activity was divided into two sessions. The first one will take place on 22 March in the afternoon, where SMEs found out more about customer perception and experience and market scenarios. The second session was held on 23 March providing the SMEs with concrete case studies on corporate social responsibility as well as evaluating the overall TOURISME experience and learnings among the participants. The event also dedicated time and space for b2b networking between the SMEs.
All project partners and beneficiaries agreed on the willingness to sustain the results and continue to deepen the SME network that the project has managed to create.
Soon you will know more about the latest activities we are planning for the conclusion of our project!
