YOUNGSDG closes with final conference in Muğla

The YOUNGSDG consortium has brought its two-year Erasmus+ project to a close with a final conference at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, where 44 educators and students gathered for the project’s main public closing event.

The conference brought together the project’s key partners and participants to present the main outputs of the initiative, including the SDG YOUTH methodology, the training guide and the platform designed to keep the results available after the project ends.

Hülya Kara Subasat and Gürcan Çetin, from ECO-IN, presented the project outputs and explained how they had been developed to support future educational use. Victor Ricardo Martinez, from Consulta Europa, introduced the project website and highlighted its role in keeping the project’s results visible and accessible beyond the final event.

The conference also reflected on the project’s wider impact, from strengthening critical thinking and civic engagement to encouraging young people to take a more active role in sustainability and community life. Certificates were handed to all participants by Semra Ayata and Victor Ricardo Martinez at the close of the event.
