AquaWind Final Public Conference

The AquaWind project (GA 101077600) is pleased to announce its Final Public Event. This EMFAF Flagship project has reached a major milestone: the demonstration of Europe’s first multi-use offshore platform combining floating wind energy (W2Power) and finfish aquaculture in the Atlantic Basin.

Event Highlights

• Presentation of technical data from prototype trials, environmental monitoring, and aquaculture.
• Discussion on the societal and environmental impacts of multi-use maritime space.
• Deep dive into the regulatory frameworks and the roadmap for future deployment.
• Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a 3D/VR prototype experience and attend dedicated networking sessions in person.

Format & Participation

The conference is a hybrid event. Stakeholders are invited to join us in person in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, or participate via the online web stream.
