She has been working since 2004 as freelance consultant in EU programmes and funding. She established her own company in 2009. She holds an MA in International and Diplomatic Sciences and is currently Phd candidate at Politecnico di Torino. External evaluator for the European Commission, she has been assisting research institutes, universities, small and medium enterprises in the design, development and management of research and technology development [RTD] and innovation projects and policy makers in the design of innovation supporting policies. Her main research interests are regional and European innovation policies, social innovation, business and innovation models.
Claudia de Luca
She holds a bachelor in environmental sciences and a Master’s degree in sustainable development. Prior to her appointment at Consulta Europa, she did a traineeship in the European Commision at DG Environment in the Unit dealing with water and flood policies. In the past she has been involved in the European Voluntary Service programme and she collaborated with the Eastern Alps Hydrographic District in Venice. As Project Manager in Consulta Europa she is responsible for the URBANWASTE project (H2020) and she works in the proposal development mostly related with environmental and sustainable development issues.

She graduated in Foreign Trade in November 2014. She is working in Las Palmas as project manager and communication officer. She previously collaborated as Research Assistant with Ecologing, a consultancy firm about environmental sustainability based in Madrid, and had a volunteering experience in an aboriginal community in Queensland, Australia, mainly working on educational projects. Her main areas of interests are related to circular economy and sustainable development. She is managing the Erasmus+ project “Coding for young people”.
Project Manager at Consulta Europa since 2015 and based in the office of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. MA in International Relations, BA in Modern Languages and Master’s Programme in European funding and project development. She previously collaborated with the International Relations Office of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice dealing with students’ Erasmus+ mobility and international promotion of the university. She also worked as a teacher in a Centre for Italian Culture and Language in Russia. She is based in the office of Las Palmas. She is managing the H2020 “IC-Health” project and the Interreg “GROW RUP” project.

MA in International Relations, BA in Political Sciences. Alessia has been working as administrative and accounting officer in an Italian company of renewable energy for 4 years. She moved to Gran Canaria after earning a research grant for her thesis on renewable energy and energy efficiency in Europe at the Technology Institute of Canary Islands. She is interested in gender issues and other cross-cutting issues related to energy consumption and political theory. At Consulta Europa she is in charge of the administrative management and accounting, and she is managing the Erasmus+ projects “Sustain your life through Social Entrepreneurship” and “Child Protection and Development”.
Amaya Blanco García
Project assistant in the Brussels office
She holds a Bacherlor’s and a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting. She specialized in International Cooperation and Intercultural Mediation. She has worked for numerous regional, national and European institutions in a number of projects, as coordinator, manager, designer and/or evaluator. From 2013 to 2015 she coordinated the Canarian Department of the Cross-border Cooperation Program Spain – External Frontiers (POCTEFEX) funded by FEDER. Her areas of interest are related to cultural and social projects and the promotion of values. She is one of the founders of EDUCOM Canarias, a non-profit educational organization for the promotion of global virtues.
Silvia Di Passio
Silvia Di Passio graduated in Political Science with a master’s degree in International Relation, after her degree in photography and the bachelor thesis in Latin America, she came back to her homeland to work with territorial development. She is the president of Rise Hub, organization in which she deals with networking at local, national and international level, design and research on social innovation, promotion of non-formal education, social integration and social inclusion of migrants, communication and audio-visual culture for social change. Actually she collaborates with the Local Action Group of the side of Abruzzi National Park in Lazio Region (“G.A.L. Ver.La” of Alvito, Italy) in order to facilitate the access to the opportunities offered by the EU for rural development and with Consulta Europa Project Innovation Ltd, a SME specialized in research, education and innovation as project assistant in Erasmus+ and H2020 programmes.
